Seismic Data Processing

Hardware & Software: MND Seismic data processing centre dispose of the cluster Dell under the system LINUX and 7 workstations. Seismic data processing is performed on the last version of Geocluster software supported by CGGVeritas. The different seismic attributes can be provided by using special software of Hampson-Russell which is now the part of CGGVeritas company.

2D and 3D Seismic Data Processing, Seismic Attributes: The MND Seismic Data Processing centre was established in 2002 by transformation of the Seismic Data Processing Centre of Geofyzika Brno – state owned company. The centre performs 2D and 3D seismic reflection data processing. The Seismic Data Processing Centre is now the MND in-house centre and process mostly 2D and 3D data from Vienna basin and Vizovice hills. MND processing specialists work with MND geologists in close cooperation to process and interpret the different seismic attributes and AVO analyzes.
